Latvian Cyclists Turn Themselves Into Cars

Latvian Cyclist Protest Traffic Issues

How do you ride safely in traffic on a bicycle? You turn that bicycle into a car! What better statement on sharing the road than to show cyclists as vehicles that deserve being on the road.

This is a terrific idea, but they need signage or something to let the drivers and onlookers know what it is all about. I’m afraid that without some interpretive material, people won’t have a clue what they are trying to tell them.

A great statement and a testament to all of us in or on vehicles:

Share the road!

And remember to always wear hi vis cycling jerseys while riding so drivers can see you better.
